Max the mosasaurus and Oscar the silvery oarfish had both wished him luck on his journey. Then, with one final glance at his friends, he had turned and descended into the deep abyss. ...

In a wide, green forest filled with rustling leaves and chattering birds, the animals gathered in sadness. Their wise and strong King, the old lion, had passed away. The forest had lost its leader. Among the mourners stood the lion’s young cub, quiet and watchful. He was still growing and unsure of himself, so he said nothing. Soon, the forest buzzed with talk. “Who will be our next King?” asked the deer. ...

A very long time ago, before cities and cars and lights, the night sky was as dark as velvet, and the stars shone like diamonds. High on a mountain in ancient Greece lived seven sisters, known for their beauty, kindness, and sparkling laughter. Their names were Maia, Electra, Taygete, Alcyone, Celaeno, Sterope, and Merope. They were the daughters of a gentle giant named Atlas, who held up the sky on his strong shoulders, and a kind goddess named Pleione, who loved to watch over them. ...

Rexie, Marlo, and Lumi searched the underwater cave for another exit. They swam for a long time, as the cave was huge, like the Jewel at Singapore’s Changi Airport, but filled with water. They explored every nook and cranny, every dark corner, but no matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t find one. Panic began to set in. They turned back towards the tunnel entrance, and their blood ran cold. ...

Just as they were leaving Atlantis, their hearts full of wonder, a colossal shadow fell over them. It was menacing, immense, and utterly mysterious. From the gloom emerged a crab, but not just any crab. This creature was the size of a blue whale, much larger than Rexie and Marlo combined! Its massive claws clicked menacingly, its beady eyes fixed on the trio. “Well, well, well,” a booming voice echoed through the water. “Look what we have here. A tasty snack, delivered right to me.” ...

Lumi’s glowing light cut through the deep, dark ocean like a tiny, flickering star. Rexie and Marlo followed closely, their hearts pounding. Then, just as the darkness seemed endless, a soft, magical glow appeared ahead. Atlantis. It wasn’t just a city, it was a dream brought to life beneath the waves. Towering marble buildings stretched toward the ocean’s surface, their tops lost in the shimmering blue. Glowing coral wrapped around giant stone pillars, and swirling carvings covered every wall, telling stories in a language no one had spoken for centuries. ...
