As the moonlight once again illuminated Sam’s bedroom, Rexo, the plastic T-Rex, stirred on his shelf. Tonight, he felt braver than ever, eager for another adventure. Stretching his tiny arms and flexing his little tail, he decided to explore the box of plastic farm animals he had spotted the night before.
With a leap and a soft plastic thud, Rexo landed on the floor and made his way to the farm animal box. As he peered inside, dozens of tiny animal eyes looked up at him. A cow mooed softly. A horse neighed in distress. A little piglet whispered, “Help us, Rexo! We’re trapped!”
“Why are you all stuck in here?” Rexo asked, puzzled.
“The Block King locked us up!” a sheep bleated. “He said farm animals belong in barns, not roaming free.”
Rexo roared, a little roar, but full of determination. “Not on my watch! I’ll get you out!”
He climbed up the side of the box, wedging his plastic feet into the tiny gaps, and pushed open the lid with all his strength. “You’re free now!” he declared. The animals cheered as they hopped, trotted, and scurried out of the box, spreading across the room.
Feeling proud, Rexo decided to check on the farm animals to ensure they were settling into their newfound freedom. That’s when he spotted a curious sight: three little pigs trying to build houses out of colourful Lego pieces.
“We have to build sturdy houses,” said the first pig, stacking bricks in a wobbly tower. “My house will be the strongest!” boasted the second, snapping bricks together in a lopsided wall. “I’ll make mine quick and easy!” grinned the third, haphazardly piling bricks in a heap.
Before Rexo could offer advice, a plastic wolf with fierce, snarling teeth crept out of the shadows.
“Little pigs, little pigs, let me blow your houses down!” the wolf howled. And with a deep breath, he blew. The Lego houses tumbled down like a cascade of colourful rain.
The pigs squealed in fear and tried to rebuild, but the wolf was relentless. That’s when Rexo stepped forward, his tiny eyes blazing with determination.
“Hey, you big bad wolf!” Rexo roared. “Leave them alone, or you’ll have me to deal with!”
The wolf turned, momentarily startled by the dinosaur’s boldness. “And what can a tiny dinosaur do to me?” the wolf sneered.
Rexo didn’t reply. Instead, he let out his fiercest roar, stomped his plastic feet, and swung his tail. The wolf yelped and scampered away, disappearing into the shadows.
The three little pigs cheered, huddling around Rexo. “You saved us!” the first pig exclaimed. “And we’d love to be your friends,” the second added. “We’ll even help you build something strong,” the third pig offered.
Together, Rexo and the pigs worked until they had built a sturdy Lego fort that even the wolf couldn’t blow down. When morning came, the pigs snuggled up in their new home, and Rexo returned to his shelf, feeling like a true hero.
He couldn’t wait to see where his adventures would take him next.
