Once upon a blocky night in the world of Minecraft, there were three little pigs who were very excited to build their own houses.
They waved goodbye to their mum, a very wise pig who wore a diamond helmet, and set off to find the perfect building spots. But they forgot one important thing: when the sun goes down, zombies come out.
First Pig — The Wooden Hut
The first little pig loved to build quickly so he could spend more time riding his boat and fishing.
He gathered oak logs and planks and in no time built a cute little wooden hut. “It’s simple and cosy,” he said proudly. But his brother snorted, “You know zombies can break through wooden doors, right?” “Relax,” said the first pig. “I’ll just sleep before they even find me.”
But as the moon rose, a zombie wandered out of the forest. It sniffed the air, as much as zombies can sniff, and groaned:
“Braaaains… or maybe bacon…”
It staggered up to the hut and knocked on the door. “Little pig, little pig,” it groaned, “let me in…”
The pig squeaked, “No way!” So the zombie growled,
“Then I’ll moan, and grooooan, and break your door down!”
CRACK! CRASH! The wooden door broke! The little pig squealed and sprinted out the back window, running to his brother’s house as fast as a pig with a speed potion.
Second Pig — The Stone House
The second little pig was a bit smarter. He gathered cobblestone and stone bricks from a nearby cave. “Wood is cute, but stone is strong!” he said, building a square stone house with iron doors.
His brother rushed in, panting, “Zombies! My door’s gone!” “Don’t worry,” the second pig said. “No zombie can break iron doors.”
But just as they were settling down… GROOOOANNNN. The same zombie arrived, and this time it brought friends.
“Little pigs, little pigs, let us in…” they moaned.
“No way!” shouted the pigs. So the zombies growled,
“Then we’ll groan, and bang, and pile up outside your windows!”
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! The zombies couldn’t break the iron door, but they were stacking on top of each other like zombie acrobats. One climbed to the window. The pigs screamed, “Run!” And both of them dashed to their sister’s house — the smartest pig of all.
Third Pig — The Obsidian Fortress
The third little pig didn’t rush. She mined deep underground, found obsidian, and even enchanted her pickaxe to work faster. Her house had reinforced walls, trapdoors, torches everywhere, and even a moat of water and magma blocks.
When her brothers burst in, gasping, she said calmly, “I told you, zombies are serious business.”
And sure enough, the zombies arrived. “Little pigs, little pigs,” they moaned, “let us in…”
“Nope!” the pigs shouted from inside the obsidian fortress.
The zombies groaned, “Then we’ll groan, and moan, and — oh no, wait — this house is unbreakable…”
They tried clawing at the door. Nothing happened. They tried punching the walls. Nothing happened. They even called in a zombie villager for help. Still nothing.
And then, as the sun began to rise, the zombies sizzled.
SSSSSSS…
They burst into pixelated smoke and disappeared.
The Three Little Pig Engineers
The three little pigs hugged.
The first pig said, “I’m never building a wooden house again.” The second pig said, “Stone is good, but obsidian is better.” And the third pig said, “Next time, let’s build together, and maybe add some lava traps!”
From that day on, the three pigs became the best Minecraft house builders in the land. No zombie ever bothered them again. Well, except one baby zombie. But he fell into the magma moat.
The End.
